DSP has a new home in Lake Toxaway, North Carolina!

The DSP business is on the road again! 

But...

This time is likely to be much more permanent than previous moves.

After nearly seven years of being based in the lovely little mountain town of Brevard, North Carolina, it looks like I have found my forever home a little further west down Rt 64 in lovely Lake Toxaway, NC (about 25 minutes from Brevard, but still in Transylvania County).

And, with the house move comes a business office move from my suite in the Straus Park development in Brevard, to a tranquil and comfy home-based office (with a view of my pond and creek). My commute has now gone from about 13 minutes down to about 13 seconds! 

It's hard to believe that it's been over 13 years since venturing south from New Jersey to the Blue Ridge Mountains -- a journey that has included a series of home and business moves over the years (Asheville to Weaverville to Brevard, and now to Lake Toxaway). That said, I absolutely love the peacefulness and solitude of where I have now landed, and I don't plan on leaving any time soon -- likely ever.

This move doesn't change much as far as my photography client "territory" goes, as I'm still within spittin' distance to Asheville (a little more than an hour on a good day with no I-26 traffic -- yeah, dream on, Dave), but it does affect my teaching business as one-on-one consultations will be based out of my Lake Toxaway office (or, an alternative location can be arranged).

If anything, the move provides the perfect environment for pursing my interest in "writing". I'm sure that Ernest Hemingway and Henry David Thoreau would make themselves at home here! I've had a detailed outline for a photography instruction book for quite some time now, and I believe that the finished book will finally come to full fruition, followed by a series of other books that I have in mind. Watch this space!
