Holiday Art Sale - Ecusta Brewing Company
Dec 03, 2024
Will you be giving the gift of art this year?
Of course you are!
It's been a few years since I've done any sort of holiday art show, and I figured this year was a better time than any to do it again given how slow business has been due to the effects of Hurricane Helene on DSP, and on the local economy.
To be blunt, the last quarter of 2024 has been brutal. (And, I'm one of the lucky ones who didn't lose my home or car, or have any extensive damage to my property.)
But, as they say, "one man's loss is another man's gain", so in an effort to pay a few Q4 bills I'll be teaming up with my good friend and fellow artist, Kathy Hardy, and we'll be doing a special two-day Holiday Art Sale at Ecusta Brewing in Brevard, NC.
Kathy is a multi-talented artist and will have a wide selection of her jewelry and art available.
I, of course, will be bringing a van-full of photography art. In fact, you can think of this as an "DSP Inventory Clearance Sale", as I'll be offering everything at basement prices (in order to free up space in my basement office! Yes, it's climate-controlled, so the art is in top condition.)
Here's a sample of what I'll be bringing with me, spread across my music photos, landscape / nature, and world travel, as well as a few urban scenes.
* 8" x 10" Matted Prints
* 11" x 14" Matted Prints
* 16 x 20" Matted Prints
* 12" x 36' Matted Panoramic Prints
* 24" x 32" Matted Prints
* Canvas Wraps - Various Sizes (ready to hang)
* Framed Photo Art (ready to hang)
* Framed Black-and-White Music Photos (ready to hang)
* Note Cards
* Miscellaneous "loose" prints (various sizes)
* Whatever else I can dig up from the DSP art vaults!
As noted above, my hope is to clear out a bunch of my art inventory pieces that I've accumulated over the years as I ramped down my participation in art shows and gallery exhibition work. Everything will be available at inflation-busting affordable prices, perfect for holiday gifts.
But wait... There's more!
SPECIAL BONUS: Not only will you be helping a couple of local artists by purchasing our artwork, but both Kathy and I will be donating a percentage of all sales to a local Hurricane Helene relief effort. And, as much as Kathy and I would appreciate your support of our creative endeavors, there are many folks in Western North Carolina that will continue to need essential assistance for the foreseeable future. So, any purchase you make will help us to help others.
As noted on the flyer below, we will be set up at Ecusta Brewing in Brevard, NC on Saturday and Sunday, December 14th and 15th, from 1pm to 7pm each day.
We hope to see you, maybe have an Ecusta Brewing fine ale or two with you, and help you with your Christmas shopping.
Pro Tip: The more beer you drink, the better our art looks, and the better you feel about giving the gift of art! Cheers!
